Jonathan helped us find a rental home in the Arlington area. He was was very prepared for our appointment with a variety of listings that could meet our needs. We found the property we wanted on our first attempt, and Jonathan was quick and aggressive to help us get it. He communicated with us quickly when we had questions, and he stayed on top of the other realtor to make sure everything went smoothly. Jonathan is a very knowledgeable realtor and very determined to get his clients everything they want!

Jonathan has been my family's personal Realtor for several years and has been especially helpful lately as our family has grown larger. Just recently he sold our home for a full-price cash offer. When we were purchasing a new build a few years ago he provided a lot of insights into what we could get from the builders and ended up with additional builder incentives we never would have gotten. He comes up with a lot of innovative ideas that get results and would highly recommend him to anyone buying or selling a home.

FAQ
My major was Chinese with a concentration in Mathematics in college. I graduated at 2008, the peak of the financial crisis. Having been to China several times already as a volunteer English teacher, I decided to buy a one-way ticket at age 23.
Eight magical years later, I was married to my soulmate and we had had a wonderful little girl. I’d spent the past five years honing my video productions skills at China Radio International but, as a foreigner, my career track had a ceiling. That and I could not allow my daughter to grow up in such a polluted environment. I had chosen to do so; she had not.
We moved at the end of 2015 back to DFW where I was born and raised, and I immediately got into the real estate business. Initially I used my foreign contacts and language skills to work in the niche Chinese investor market to support my family, but have since expanded to serve and support the community where I live.
Yes and yes. China is an amazing country. The people are extremely hospitable, the food is amazing, and the sights and sounds of the city and the countryside are unlike anywhere else in the world. Beijing will always be a second home to me.
That’s really up to you. Of course I’m not going to turn down your business, but I’ll never push you into something you don’t want. Buying a home is a huge decision.
One of the best things about my profession is that it’s actually not “sales-y.” You know that famous scene from Glengarry Glen Ross? “Always Be Closing?”
It’s nonsense. I’m not selling T-shirts or iPhones. People don’t buy something that costs hundreds of thousands of dollars because some sales guy was pushy. I’m here to build lasting friendships and to help people.
Personally, I chose to buy a home. Not only because of being “tired of renting,” but because my wife and I were raising a little girl and we thought it was the best decision for our family to have a place of our own.
In short, it’s a personal decision. But I’m happy to talk about it with you.
Of course not! Not only would that be silly, it would also be unethical.
When I say I am YOUR Millennial Real Estate Agent, I mean I am bringing everything only someone from my generation can bring to the table – a unique mix of perspective, skills and knowledge that is crucial in today’s changing real estate industry.
I’m the Millennial, but you do not have to be.
Think of me as an attorney. (No, I am not comparing myself to someone who has spent years at law school.) You wouldn’t want to show up to court without a lawyer, would you?
Realtors are experts in the field of real estate. Every day I am living and breathing real estate, I am out and about in the market, meeting people, asking questions, helping clients, showing homes, holding Open Houses, talking with buyers and sellers, analyzing prices, closing deals, etc.
A Realtor is your guide to the real estate market whenever you need one. Another of my favorite analogies is a Realtor is like a sports agent, or a talent agent for an actress or model. Do the top A-list actors in the world have agents? Of course they do. Agents work on behalf of their clients, and the best clients have the best agents.
In the words of Jerry Maguire, Help Me Help You!
Trick question! I’m not going to give a pitch on my website. It’s too cold. If you are serious about buying or selling real property, let’s get together in real life and talk.
My number is (972) 736-8711. You can text or call me anytime. I’m a pretty chill and straightforward guy. Some people in my life even have called me “cool.”
In all seriousness, I’m glad you’re here, and I hope I’ll have the opportunity to serve you. I sincerely believe I am the best Realtor in DFW.

The Community Garden
McKinney, TX
No child should ever go hungry, especially not in a place like Collin County that has experienced so much growth.
On December 6th, I attended the Groundbreaking of The Community Garden, the first Kitchen in Collin County dedicated to serving freshly prepared meals to anyone experiencing food insecurity.

Youth Entrepreneur Society (YES)
Dallas, TX
When I first started my business, one of the first things I did was join the US-China Dallas Chamber of Commerce. Meeting so many incredible people transformed my life and my business.
That’s why I was the first volunteer to become a mentor for Y.E.S., a new organization for young students who are interested in starting their own businesses.

Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund (AALDEF)
Plano, TX
The political process has been something very important to me from a young age. In our divided times (divided here is a verb, not an adjective!), it’s never been more important to fight against voter suppression in all its bipartisan forms.
Founded in 1974, the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund (AALDEF) is a national organization that protects and promotes the civil rights of Asian Americans. By combining litigation, advocacy, education, and organizing, AALDEF works with Asian American communities across the country to secure human rights for all.

Aid For Disaster Relief
As Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Florence brought massive floods and destructive winds to Texas, Florida and the Southeast, many in the Houston, Key West, Miami, Naples, Charleston areas became destitute and in need of relief and aid.
Fathom agents like myself do what we do best to raise money – helping clients – to then donate portions of our commissions.
